The context
Letzhome Bâtiment is a general construction and renovation company registered in Luxembourg and based in Medingen. Like many recently formed building firms in the Grand Duchy, it entered the market with real on-site expertise — and no online presence at all.
The problem isn’t new, but it has become decisive. In Luxembourg construction, word of mouth still brings in projects, but it no longer brings them in alone. A homeowner weighing an €80,000 renovation does not pick up the phone before searching the company name on Google. If nothing comes back — no site, no project photos, no verifiable address — the recommendation they just received loses its weight instantly.
Identified issues
- No search footprint: the company was invisible on Google and absent from AI search answers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews).
- A structural credibility gap: a young SARL-S has to prove it is solid before it can prove it is skilled.
- A multilingual market: Luxembourg clients search in French, German and English — alongside the sector’s large Portuguese-speaking community.
- A broad offer, poorly legible: structural work, renovation, façades, fit-out — a range of trades that, presented as one block, speaks to no one in particular.
- No capture channel: enquiries arrived by phone only, with no record, no qualification, no follow-up.
Our approach
We didn’t build a brochure. We built a commercial tool: a site designed to turn a Google search into a qualified quote request, and to give a young company the surface area of an established one.
Editorial architecture: one trade, one page
Instead of a catch-all “Services” page, each trade gets its own page, with its own vocabulary and its own search intent. This is what captures real queries — house renovation Luxembourg, structural works contractor Luxembourg, façade renovation Luxembourg — rather than a single generic term that is impossible to win.
Every trade page follows the same structure: the client’s problem, the service, how the work unfolds, related projects, call to action.
Proof before argument
In construction, one site photo is worth three paragraphs. The project gallery was therefore treated as structural rather than decorative: WebP-optimised images, deferred loading, responsive formats served per device — so visual proof costs nothing in performance.
Technical foundation
- Astro static generation: no WordPress, no plugins, no attack surface.
- Tailwind CSS for a coherent design system and maintenance without debt.
- TypeScript across the component layer.
- Optimised imagery (WebP,
srcset, loading="lazy") — the heaviest asset class on any construction site. - CDN hosting with edge delivery and automatic SSL.
SEO and Discoverability foundations
This is the part most sites in the sector skip, and the part that decides the next twelve months:
- Schema.org structured data (
GeneralContractor,LocalBusiness,Service) so Google understands the entity, the service area and the offering. - Clean
hreflangmarkup, each language served from its own indexable URLs. - Internal linking between trade pages and completed projects, channelling authority toward commercial pages.
- Citable content: short, factual answers to the questions clients actually ask — lead times, coverage area, project types — the exact format AI engines extract and quote.
llms.txtand entity consistency across the site, Google Business Profile and the business register, so the company name resolves to the same reality everywhere.- Technical core: sitemap, robots, canonicals, green Core Web Vitals on mobile.
Conversion
The quote form was designed to filter as much as to capture: project type, location, desired timeline. The company receives a pre-qualified enquiry rather than a bare “call me back”. Click-to-call permanently visible on mobile — because in this trade, half of all contacts happen from a job site, one hand on the screen.
Results
- A complete digital presence where there was none: a multilingual site, indexable trade pages and an optimised project gallery.
- Solid SEO foundations: Schema.org structured data, clean
hreflang, internal linking and content citable by AI engines. - A fast technical core: Astro static generation, WebP imagery, green Core Web Vitals on mobile.
- Google Business Profile created, verified and linked to the site.
- A qualifying quote form that turns a Google search into an actionable enquiry — project type, location, timeline.
What this project demonstrates
A construction company doesn’t need a “nice” website. It needs a website Google understands, clients believe, and that turns a search into a site visit.
Letzhome Bâtiment went from a purely offline existence to a complete digital presence — visible, credible, measurable.
