The context
Top Squash is a squash, fitness and health club in Luxembourg, built in 1989 and run by a team of 8 full-time professionals, including squash and fitness coaches. The club has 7 glass-back courts and is open 365 days a year.
The offer is broad: squash, fitness, massage, kids’ sports camps, events and tournaments, a kitchen and a shop. The previous website, built on WordPress with a page builder, no longer reflected the club’s energy, and all of that offer was hard to take in at a glance.
The goals
- Make people want to play: squash is often called the world’s healthiest sport, and it becomes an Olympic sport in 2028.
- Make the offer easy to read: seven different areas, all of which must be found in seconds.
- Put club life up front: holiday camps, tournaments and junior gatherings run all year round.
- Shorten the path to action: book a court or become a member without searching.
Our approach
A sporty art direction
Bold typography, a player in full action, the club’s red and the court lines in the background. The headline is four words long: “Step on. Stay on.”, followed by one sentence that says it all: the world’s healthiest sport, Olympic from 2028.
The calendar, always visible
A ticker at the top of every page shows the upcoming events with their dates: holiday camps, tournaments, junior gatherings. Members see what is coming straight away, without opening a menu.
Seven areas one click away
From the homepage, seven tiles lead straight to each part of the club: squash, events, kids’ camps, fitness, massage, kitchen and shop.
Book and join in one click
The bookings login and the membership button stay in the header on every page. The club’s most important journey is never more than one click away.
The results
The new website has just gone live. We will publish the figures here (bookings, memberships, Google visibility) as soon as they can be measured.
